Mock Fire Drill at ADP Building

The Police College received a total of 317 candidate students, as part of the 29th batch of recruits. Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi, Police College Director greeted the new students upon their arrival, along with several heads of departments and training staff.
Addressing the new students, Colonel Al Ketbi stressed on the police leadership’s commitment to provide the country with competent and well educated national cadre, capable of preserving the national gains and promote security. He also noted that the UAE Government is constantly striving to position the country at the forefront of world countries in achieving safety and security; pursuant to the MoI’s vision with this regard.
Colonel Al Ketbi explained that the academic and training program at the Police College begins with a preparatory semester followed by eight semesters over the course of four and a half years.  Upon completing these studies, students will be qualified to obtain a PhD degree in police sciences and criminal justice.
Before the welcoming ceremony, a meeting was held to acquaint students and parents with the procedures, regulations, and specific requirements for joining the Police College. The floor was opened to answer the attendees’ inquiries and listen to their views.
Colonel Al Ketbi also wished the students best luck in their new career.
