China Revealed, a one-hour TV block with Chinese contents, debuts in Middle East

China revealed (Photo: ME NewsWire)China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC) and National Geographic Channel (NGC) jointly screened the highlights of China Revealed, a one-hour TV block focusing on China story, at the MyContent event held at Dubai International Exhibition Centre today. In Middle Eastern countries, China Revealed is the first block with China content developed and promoted by an international network. The Block will broadcast worldwide on National Geographic Channel on 70 countries and regions, covering 300 million households.
China Revealed is the result of a three-year partnership agreement between CICC and NGC which will see the launch of an hour-long China-related documentary every week for the next year in Asia. UAE audiences can watch the documentaries on National Geographic Abu Dhabi every Saturday.
China Revealed focuses on disseminating information and educating global audiences about China, a land of immense scale and diversity, an ancient civilization with a fascinating history dating back thousands of years. From the monumental engineering feats of the Great Wall, to innovative and unique farming techniques, and a massive water splashing festival, the documentaries of the block helps audiences discover how China has transformed its cities and infrastructure so dramatically while still retaining its strong traditions and how these traditions have shaped China’s uniquely recognizable landscape.

National Geographic Abu Dhabi broadcasts China Revealed Block to over 50 million cable TV subscribers in more than 20 countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman and North Africa and the wider Middle East region.
