(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Now in its 16th year, Insight to MENA at OTC, the welcome reception that hosts energy leadership from the Middle East and North Africa at the largest energy conference in the world, has become known as fertile ground for fostering relationships and facilitating international deals between companies across the globe. The event, scheduled for May 6th in Texas (USA), welcomes over 1000 energy executives who network with their global counterparts to gain insight into business opportunities, make personal introductions, and pave the way for mutual economic partnerships.
Originally created by the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce to promote partnerships between the U.S. and the Middle East/North Africa region, Insight to MENA at OTC has grown to include dozens of companies from Asia, including Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia, in addition to delegates representing Kuwait, Algeria, Angola, Ghana, Nigeria, Norway, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
“Our annual event has fostered hundreds of business relationships between U.S. and MENA region companies over the last two decades, and has become an intraregional meeting point between delegates from all across the Middle East, Asia and Africa,“ said Aida Araissi, Founder and President of The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce. “We are proud to serve as official hosts, providing the insight and opportunity to make connections that produce results for the increasing number of companies represented at our events.”
Every year at Insight to MENA, the Bilateral Chamber honors one company with their Visionary Leadership Award, chosen for their significant contributions to the vision of mutually beneficial economic partnerships between participating countries. This year’s award recipient is Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, represented by Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman, His Excellency Farouk Hussain Al Zanki.
“Under the leadership of HE Al Zanki, Kuwait Petroleum and their subsidiaries have given generously of their support, time, and hospitality, working closely with our Chamber to provide a high degree of access to American businesses that wish to promote international trade in the technology, service, education, and small business industries,” said Araissi.
The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber is an exclusive membership-based network of international business leadership that works to establish strategic connections between the United States and Middle East/North Africa (MENA) for the purpose of fostering economic growth, educational advancement and cultural understanding.
