Officers graduate from a specialized course at the Crime Scene Village in Ajman


ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, August 22nd 2013 [ME NewsWire]

The Federal Crime Scene Department at the Criminal Police General Directorate at the Ministry of Interior celebrated the graduation of twelve officers and non-commissioned officers from a specialized course titled: "The 8th Edition of Crime Scene Forensic Investigation- Level 1." The course was held at the Crime Scene Village in Ajman, and took place over a period of three months. The officers and non-commissioned officers came from various police headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior.

Lieutenant Colonel Salem Khalifa Al Dir’e, Acting Director of the Federal Crime Scene Department, said that the participants received theoretical lectures and practical training in the specialization.

He stressed the commitment and interest of the Ministry of Interior in developing police personnel abilities and attuning them to new developments in the areas of policing and security. He underscored the importance of these courses as participants learn precision, and gain field experience and familiarity with security aspects.
