Abu Dhabi Police Encourages Emirati Students in the U.S. to Study Hard

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, December 25th 2013 [ME NewsWire]

Lt. Colonel Khaled Abdullah Al Khouri, Head of the Education Department at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, encouraged Emirati students who are studying at universities in the U.S. to persevere during their educational journeys, and reminded them to take pride in their national identity and in their sense of belonging to the United Arab Emirates and its wise leadership.

Al Khouri attended the UAE Students Forum in Washington, and spoke about the ongoing scholarship programs offered by the UAE, under the unique flag of the union. He expressed his appreciation of the students’ efforts in pursuing their education and for their attendance at the forum.

The forum, which is organized annually, allows Emirati students to get acquainted with their peers that study in other states, and share information and communicate. It also allows them to meet the representatives from government organizations, as well as public and private companies. The forum also familiarizes the students with post-graduate opportunities at the annual job fair, which they will have in the future when they graduate.

The Abu Dhabi Police delegation met with the Abu Dhabi Police scholarship students in the United States.
