(BUSINESS WIRE)-- COMPUTEX, the world’s second largest ICT trade show, returns again on June 2nd, 2015, along with the prestigious COMPUTEX d&i awards. The winners of the awards will be displayed in Taipei before they embark on a world tour of the major ICT trade shows, and as a showcase of the newest innovations in technology, are a focus for many buyers attending the show. The awards are a collaboration between show organizer, TAITRA, and renowned German design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH.

The COMPUTEX d&i awards were established in 2008, and as the contest now enters its 8th year, the number of submissions have increased. The awards are divided into 9 categories, encompassing both hardware and software. The 2015 awards have introduced a new category, Smart Technology Applications + Products, reflecting the newest technological trend and diversifying the awards.

The award-winners are chosen by an international jury and will enjoy the backing of iF International Forum Design GmbH, with Comprehensive advertisements for maximum exposure. Award winners will be featured on the COMPUTEX and iF official websites and in a special commemorative album, and will embark on an international tour of the world’s biggest ICT trade shows—IFA, GITEX, CES, MWC, and CeBIT.
