The third Ramadan competition, ‘The Field Challenge’, held by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Al Ain, of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, has concluded. The competition, held for the third consecutive year, witnessed the participation of several teams representing the government, institutions, and departments of Al Ain.
The championship title was awarded to the United House team from the Al Ain General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs for their win against the Al Faza’ah team from the Al Ain Traffic Directorate in the final match.
The contest witnessed the participation of 16 departments, institutions, governmental entities, namely: the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Al Ain, the Al Ain Labor Office, the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC), the Al Ain Traffic Directorate, Al Ain Traffic, the Social Support Center, Dar Zayed for Family Care, the Naturalization Directorate in Al Ain, the E-Services Section at the Resources and Support Services Department, Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC), Al Ain Municipality, Red Crescent Authority, Al Ain Courts, the Department of Transport, and the Sheikh Muhammad bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Center.
The teams were divided into two groups, with each consisting of eight teams. A draw was made for the competing teams in each group. The tournament also included questions on culture, religion, sports, history, traditions, puzzles, and general information.
Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi, Director of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Al Ain, awarded the champions with the wining trophy and honored the team that placed second with medals. He also honored other governmental departments and institutions that took part in the tournaments. The event was attended by Colonel Mohammed Saif Al Nabhani, Deputy Director of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department and a number of officers and employees.
