Ajman Civil Defense Celebrate Workers in Participation with Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain Departments

The Ajman Civil Defense General Directorate hosted a ceremony to honor its employees and workers, in participation with the Sharjah Civil Defense General Directorate and Umm Al Quwain Civil Defense Directorate. The ceremony aims to mark the “International Workers’ Day”, in recognition of their efforts at work.
Brigadier Saleh Saeed Al Matroushi, Director General of the Civil Defense in Ajman said: “Organizing this event is a tribute to the workers and their role in driving the progress and development process.” He also stressed the Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) keenness to recognize the efforts of this category. He added: “The MoI has enacted a set of laws that guarantee the rights of the various categories of workers, and is keen to deal in a humanitarian and professional manner with them. This aims to promote the spirit of social solidarity, and reflects the attention and appreciation of the UAE for workers and their contributions to society, as well as its commitment to maintain their rights and stature.”
The ceremony included cultural and recreational activities for workers, and the distribution of appreciation certificates and gifts, in addition to motivational speeches for the department’s workers. The Sports Activities Branch also organized football and volleyball matches.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Nasser Rashid Al Zerri, Head of the Media and Public Relations Section at the Ajman Civil Defense, and a number of non-commissioned officers and constables.
