MoI’s Ramadan Councils in Abu Dhabi to Start Tomorrow

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Monday, June 30th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

The legal Ramadan Councils organized by The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Law Respect Culture Bureau at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, are scheduled to begin on Tuesday. These councils complement the initiative that started in 2012 to host such councils, as an effort from the MoI to involve the UAE citizens and provide them with the opportunity to discuss the important topics of interest to the public.

The first Ramadan council, which will be held in Al Bateen, will discuss the theme “United in Responsibility”, “Our responsibility towards the country”. The discussion will be moderated by the Media personality Abdul Raheem Al Bateeh,‎ Director of Public Service affairs, Abu Dhabi Media Company. HE Ali Bin Salem Al Kaabi, Secretary of the office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development Foundation, will host the second Ramadan Council, which will discuss the theme of “United in Destiny”, “Zayed: the dream”. It will be moderated by the Media personality Mr. Habib Al Sayegh, Advisor at Dar Al Khaleej, Chief Editor. Mr. Ahmed Shabib Al Dhaheri, Director General of Zayed Foundation will be hosting the third Ramadan council. This council will discuss the theme: “United in Knowledge”, “Sustainable Energy Culture”. The council will be moderated by Media personality Abdulla Rasheed, Gulf News Abu Dhabi Bureau Chief. The fourth Ramadan council that will discuss the theme: United in Prosperity, “Modern Infrastructures”, will be hosted by businessman Mohamed bin Nasser Al Shafi Al Hajiri. It will be moderated by journalist Mr. Ali Al Amoudi. The fifth Ramadan council will discuss the theme “women and leadership support”. It will be a women’s council and will be hosted by Fatima Khalil Al Foulathi, and it will be moderated by the Media personality Alsaad Al Menhali, Editor-in-Chief of National Geographic Al Arabiya.
