An Enchanting Christmas Collection By SWAROVSKI

Dubai, Untied Arab Emirates - Monday, November 28th 2011 [ME NewsWire]

Swarovski is ending 2011 in spectacular fashionwith the release of a brilliant selection of jewelry and decorative objects.

Every Christmas, Swarovski creates a festive ambiance with a collection of sparkling gifts and ornaments that evoke magic and joy. For a remarkable 20 Years, the “Christmas Ornament, Annual Edition”, has gracefully adorned Christmas trees and homes all over the world. To mark this special occasion and to continue this beautiful tradition, Swarovski has opted for a refined and modern star design that sparkles with an exceptional brilliance.

This winter, the jewelry collection reinterprets crystal and its many facets, with a star covered completely in crystal pavé, Crystal Mesh spheres, and perfectly set baguette-cut crystals.

Swarovski demonstrates its expertise with precisely applied clear mini crystal pavé detailing, featured on the “Pleasure” necklace, pendant, earrings, brooch, bracelet, and ring. The delicate rhodium-plated chain of the elegant “Pleasure” necklace is adorned with six pointed stars entirely covered in clear crystals and rhodium-plated settings. Featuring a large central crystal, these cut-out stars appear to move and sparkle just like shooting stars.

The Crystal Mesh sphere is regarded as a Christmas icon and is the ultimate in exclusive festive design. Minute crystals unfurl in a circular motion to combine high brilliance with refinement. The “Pin-Up” range plays on light and includes a long necklace punctuated by five Crystal Mesh spheres in clear and gold-colored crystal that are attached to a fine rhodium-plated silver chain. Creative Director, Nathalie Colin, opted to place the Crystal Mesh spheres in a row that is bound together by black ribbon for the shorter version, which can be complemented by a matching bracelet.

For winter 2011/12, the baguette-cut crystal is bringing an art deco edge to Christmas.

The rectangular, finely faceted crystal of the “Prime Time” necklace takes inspiration from fine jewelry. Countless baguette cut crystals beautifully complement the angular and opulent design. This glamorous necklace and matching bracelet sparkle in the light creating a look that is as spectacular as it is timeless.

The Crystalline collection combines functionality with beauty to add a touch of class to any celebration. Mini crystals lend the clean lines of objects such as champagne flutes, wine glasses, vases, photo frames, and candle holders an incomparable shine. To complete the festive atmosphere, there is also an entire collection of ornaments in the shape of key Christmas symbols to add a spectacular sparkle to the festive season.

Chic, trendy, or classic, Swarovski’s 2011 Christmas collection is as enchanting as ever.
