Al Rumaithi Reviews Abu Dhabi’s Madinat Khalifa Police Station Initiatives During his Inspection Visit

Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, inspected the Madinat Khalifa Police Station of the Peripheral Regions Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police. During this inspection visit, he reviewed the quality of services provided to the public, as well as the plans, programs, initiatives and advanced technological media that are used. The inspection was attended by Major General Maktoum Ali Al Shareefi, Acting Director of the Capital Police Directorate, Colonel Abdulnoor Al Shehhi, Director of the Peripheral Regions Directorate, as well as officers from Police Operations in Abu Dhabi Police.

Al Rumaithi stressed the particular enthusiasm held by the emirate’s forward-thinking leadership in providing the best working environment for the policing sector, as well as developing the capacities of its staff. This fosters the development and maintenance of safety and stability in society, as well as providing the best services to all segments of the public. He called upon the officers and staff members of the Madinat Khalifa Police Station to enhance communication with the public, simplify procedures for clients and complete all transactions in a timely manner. He also stressed the importance of strengthening relationships with both internal and external partners, in order to achieve the strategic vision of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters in ensuring that the emirate continues as a society that enjoys security and safety.

The Abu Dhabi Police Commander-in-Chief referred to the importance and role of the Councils in the jurisdiction and increasing the number of visits and meetings with members of the community. Abu Dhabi Police is keen on enhancing cooperation and communication with the community through councils and meetings to address the challenges and issues in society. Al Rumaithi also underlined the importance of giving consideration to suggestions proposed by the public that improve quality of services and promote the community’s stability and security. He also praised the role of community members in supporting the ongoing development and building in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, thanks to its visionary and exceptional leadership.

Major General Al Rumaithi stressed the importance of seeking to develop and improve the capacities of staff working in the service departments of police centers, by availing of training courses, spreading the culture of organizational excellence, adhering to the best of standards and international practices, as well as keeping pace with the latest advances and innovations in policing. He highlighted the importance of implementing the general values of the Abu Dhabi Police while performing their duties. These values include integrity, honesty, respecting human rights, providing excellent service and treating people with equality. Their values also encourage communal work and recognize the contribution of individuals and groups in the achievements made, and rewarding the contributors.

Al Rumaithi reviewed work flow in the sections and branches of the Madinat Khalifa Police Station and listened to a briefing from Station Director, Major Mohammed Ateeq Al Hassani,  about the services provided by the station within the jurisdiction, the initiatives, current and future projects, special statistics related to combating and preventing crime, as well as the awards that the station recently received.
