Empower the Ability in Disability & be a Part of the Success Story of a Special Needs Child

Al Noor Training Centre invites individuals and corporates to sponsor the education of a special needs child to help them reach their highest potential.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Monday, September 5th 2016 [ME NewsWire]

“To make a difference in someone’s life you don’t have to be rich, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to care.”

All of us at some point of time have thought about making a difference, but most often we didn’t know how to do it.  But that does not mean we have to write off community involvement completely. Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities brings to you the perfect platform where your compassion meets action. Their unique sponsorship initiative is an incredibly powerful way to transform the life of a child with special needs through your contribution, guaranteeing the sponsored child a bright future full of opportunities. What makes this sponsorship program so unique is that it triggers an opportunity for education, enlightenment and empowerment for the special needs community.

A big part of this sponsorship program, for both corporates and individuals, is the outstanding impact and the significant transformation that takes place in the lives of the special needs students, who otherwise, devoid of any support, would have missed out on a successful future.

Through this sponsorship program, you or your company can contribute towards the training of special needs students and the fee sponsorship will ensure that families unable to pay the already subsidized fee can still have their children train at the centre.  The sponsorship can be executed through yearly, quarterly or monthly payment options.

Al Noor Training Centre has been relentlessly providing all individuals with special needs, regardless of background, the same opportunity through professional training and care to realize their highest potential. The Centre accommodates 270 children from 35 different nationalities of varied income backgrounds. However the statistics of the income background is stark.  More than 25% of the families are unable to pay the highly subsidized fee due to financial challenges.

The Centre has deployed purpose built facilities digital tools ranging from smart boards, assistive technology, modern training tools, therapies, vocational training, sports, music, Arts and Craft and many more. The all- inclusive cost for training a child is more than AED 65,000 annually, but the Centre charges a fee of AED 45,000, giving more than 30% subsidy on the total cost of training.  Additionally, more than 25 % of the families do not pay the full subsidized fee due to financial constraints.

However, we all can rise up to the challenge by sponsoring one child at a time.

Mr. Ismail Yoon, President of Samsung Electronics, who have been involved in the sponsorship program of Al Noor as part of their Citizenship Program ‘Samsung Hope for Children’, shares, “Education empowers all in various ways, but special education empowers students with disabilities to instill confidence and a sense of belonging, helping them integrate into mainstream society. And Al Noor ensures that the proceeds are channelized accurately towards holistic training and quality education.”

Commenting on this initiative, Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free said, “We are delighted to be a part of Al Noor Training Centre’s initiative and strongly support their Sponsor a Child Program where we started with only 3 children in 2011, now we are sponsoring 10 children since 2013. We also supported their other initiatives such as the annual Calendar Project, the Smile n’ Stuff products made by the children of Al Noor and the Ramadan CSR Football Tournament.”

As the new academic session is about to begin, Al Noor Training Centre looks forward to have you partner with its mission of providing quality professional training to children with special needs through the Child Sponsorship Program.
