Saudi femi9 fashion makes Europe debut with a sell-out in Zurich

Jeddah, KSA - Wednesday, August 10th 2011 [ME NewsWire]

Saudi fashion house “femi9” made a sell-out debut in the European market with their flagship store opening in Seefeld, Zurich. The popular brand consists of casual chic and semi-formal wear clothing to fit the lifestyle of outgoing, contemporary women aged 20 to 40.

The launch event held on June 15 saw most of the items flying off the shelves. A live concert by singer Catherine Amoroso and a new CD release by DJ Tom Novy rocked the occasion. Special guests included Miss Switzerland, Jennifer Ann Gerber, actress Karin Lanz, Swiss DJ Djane Sanje, and Eyad Mashat, CEO of Fad International, the umbrella organization for Saudi fashion brand femi9.

Fad International launched femi9 in Riyadh in 1999 with a vision to create unique fashion brands that were locally inspired and met global standards, rather than importing fashion from the world market. Today it has 55 outlets in modern shopping centers all across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Syria, Egypt and now, Switzerland.

With sophisticated seasonal collections of accessories, shoes, and intimate apparel, femi9 provides a wide array of options for stylish ensembles. Stylish design, high quality and affordability has made the brand hugely popular with university students, housewives and young professionals.

In 2009 and again in 2010, femi9 was ranked among the top 20 in the Saudi Fast Growth Awards list, an annual ranking of the 100 fastest-growing companies in Saudi Arabia.
