BATS Global Markets Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- BATS Global Markets, Inc. (BATS), a global operator of securities and derivatives markets, today announced it filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering of Class A common stock.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined. A portion of the shares will be issued and sold by BATS, and a portion will be sold by certain stockholders of BATS.

The bookrunning managers of the proposed offering will be Morgan Stanley, Citi and Credit Suisse.
