Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Monday, December 5th 2016 [ME NewsWire]
Arabia CSR Network will organize a three day open training course in Dubai from 13th to 15th of December on Sustainability Reporting. The acclaimed course is developed by Global Reporting initiative, the leading international body that has brought out the renowned GRI G4 framework in the process of becoming the sustainability reporting standard. GRI is the most widely used framework for sustainability reporting in the world with over 20,000 reports already issued by public, private and civil society organisations across the globe.
The training will be facilitated by Arabia CSR Network, a certified training partner of GRI and a leading knowledge and service provider on CSR and sustainability in the Arab Region. Companies that produce a sustainability report are commonly viewed as ethical, responsible and transparent. The training will highlight the elements of the GRI framework, namely, stakeholder engagement and materiality. The training methodology will include pedagogical content and case examples, backed by discussion and exercises. All delegates that complete the stipulated number of training hours will be issued an e-certificate by GRI from its headquarters in Amsterdam.
The Arabia CSR Network is the only organisation to offer exclusive GRI courses in Arabic. To date, the Network has conducted 32 GRI trainings evolving from G3, G3.1 to G4. It has successfully trained 313 professionals, paving the way for 123 sustainability reports based on the GRI G4 framework in the region. Trainers have a strong expertise in all aspects of CSR and sustainability. “Within 3 days, I had so many concepts, ideas and misconceptions clarified. The course is highly enlightening not only in subject matter but in the topic of sustainability in general,” said a delegate from the last training conducted by Arabia CSR Network.
Mrs. Habiba Al Marashi, CEO of the Arabia CSR Network, revealed that the network has become the favorite platform for those wishing to develop their capabilities to prepare CSR reports.
