MPEG LA Expands DisplayPort License Coverage

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MPEG LA, LLC has announced that coverage of its DisplayPort Patent Portfolio License was recently updated to include the latest DisplayPort standard specification, VESA DisplayPort Standard, Version 1.4, March 2016.
The DisplayPort Patent Portfolio License is offered for the convenience of DisplayPort users enabling them to obtain coverage under essential patents owned by multiple patent holders in a single license as an alternative to negotiating separate licenses. MPEG LA’s objective is to provide worldwide access to as much DisplayPort essential intellectual property as possible for the benefit of licensees.
