“My congratulations to our first group of 61 MEF-CECP certified professionals around the world as the MEF reaches another milestone in accelerating the adoption of Carrier Ethernet” commented Nan Chen, MEF President. “With Ethernet Business Services revenues forecast to be $40 - $50bn by 2015, service providers, equipment vendors and enterprises are now able to recruit talent to internationally recognized Carrier Ethernet knowledge and skill levels. This exam can be taken online at home or the office, or in an MEF approved test facility. Individuals may choose, before taking the exam, to complete an MEF-approved training course provided by MEF Accredited Training Partners (MEF-ATP).

Telefocal Asia and EANTC have been now been formally accredited by the MEF with at least three more MEF-ATPs due to be announced in the coming months.
