Dubai Trade holds talks with Al Futtaim Logistics to enhance portal competitiveness

Dubai Trade, the premier trade facilitator under Dubai World, has held talks with Al Futtaim Logistics, one of the largest logistics service providers in the UAE, to discuss its premium e-services and ways to enhance the competitiveness of the portal and better serve the customer.
The discussions were held as part of Dubai Trade’s ongoing customer outreach and service programme initiated to obtain feedback on its various online services and appraise the specific needs of the client to enhance offerings in order to help improve trade flow.
The talks were attended by Mahmood Al Bastaki, Director, Dubai Trade, senior officials representing DP World and Dubai Customs, Tom Nauwelaerts, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Logistics, and other senior Al Futtaim Logistics officials, at the company’s headquarters in Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The discussions covered all areas of services provided by Dubai Trade that facilitate direct online transactions between the Dubai World flagship companies and Al Futtaim Logistics. Over the last 30 years, Al-Futtaim Group has developed to be one of the country’s most prominent supply chain service providers, servicing both Al-Futtaim Group companies as well as large 3rd party and other customers.

The Corridor, linking Jebel Ali port and free zone to the Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International Airport, is an enormous collaborative effort to boost Dubai’s redistribution capabilities and its status as the Middle East’s largest and the most efficient trading hub.
