Huron Consulting Group Adds Former American Hospital Dubai CEO to Focus on Middle East Healthcare Issues

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that Michael French has joined the Company as a managing director in the Health and Education Consulting segment. French will be working primarily with the Company’s hospital, academic medical center, and health system clients in the Middle East.

French has more than 30 years of experience working with hospital and healthcare organizations both domestically and abroad. He has extensive experience working with not-for-profit and for-profit hospitals on strategic planning, operations improvement, governance, and facility and new program development.


Before joining Huron, French was chief executive officer of Michael French & Associates, LLC, a healthcare interim management and consulting firm providing both domestic and international services to hospital clients. Prior to that position, he served as the chief executive officer of American Hospital Dubai, a private acute care Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospital in the United Arab Emirates. At Huron, French will be focused on strategic insight, analysis, and recommendations surrounding the global expansion and management of health, education, and research programs for Huron’s Middle East healthcare clients.
